Information security is part of the job

We run an externally audited and certified Information Security Management System (ISMS). Roles and responsibilities are formally defined and assigned across the company, written into our security policies, and everyone is expected to follow them. We build security in from the design stage, we train everyone for it, and we review each other's code with it in mind.

•Every role has its information security responsibilities defined in our ISMS policies, and following those policies is expected of everyone; they are binding, not advisory.
•Responsibilities are formally assigned when you join, reviewed whenever your role changes, and reassigned when you move on.
•Topic-specific duties (asset ownership, access management, incident reporting, supplier handling) are allocated to named roles, not left implicit.
•Security by design: threat considerations, secure defaults, and data protection are part of how we architect a feature, not a hardening pass bolted on before release.
•Everyone receives security training at onboarding and regularly afterwards, tailored to what your role actually touches.
•Code reviews are expected to look at security explicitly: input handling, authentication and authorisation, secrets, dependencies.
•You get the training, time, and authority to actually fulfil the responsibilities assigned to you.

Who we're looking for

EXPERIENCE

5+ years as a professional developer with TypeScript and a major frontend framework.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Excellent JavaScript/TypeScript, 3+ years React or Angular• Strong Node.js knowledge (Koa, Express, or NestJS)• Static site generators (Gatsby, Remix, Next.js) a plus• Enthusiasm for automated testing
OTHER SKILLS
• Break down complex problems independently• Team player who teaches and learns• Agile experience (Scrum)• Git-based development, PRs, code reviews• Strong self-organisation• Clear communicator• Interest in AI-assisted development (Copilot, Cursor, Codex, Claude Code)• Willingness to take on the information security responsibilities of your role and follow our security policies• Fluent German and English
